Who knows? Some good questions there. I think there are weak arguments though. You’re suggesting he wanted them to be cursed because people didn’t listen to the gospel. He said “we” not I and that letting God do what is to be done is not him doing anything. You’re loose with your words and speak quickly so you make many mistakes and assumptions. And contradictions are common if written by man even if not intentional, as you know. There are many false prophets around especially today. I suspect many will call the lords name when the time is up and the lord will not accept. Do you think if you felt the darkness when the time comes, and called God’s name that he would come to save you?

The concept that "God loves you even though you are a sinner and unworthy of his love and grace because of your "sinful nature" due to original sin - that has nothing to do with you, is disgusting. It also teaches you that love is earned. You cannot tell me that concept will not leak into other areas of your life. Now you have someone who feels unlovable and tries everything they can to be loved by God and others. You have an emotionally immature people pleaser that will always feel like they are not enough to anyone. They live in guilt and shame and fear. With respect, I do not think that you are being reasonable. You bring purposes and claims to the text that are not logical. For example, you claim The Gospels were written ~70AD, roughly 37 years after Christ, and that this is too much time after the fact to support belief. This is an unreasonable assumption. John's gospel, for example, mentions "the sheep gate," in Jerusalem, and it does this as if the gate was then yet in existence. That gate was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans. The other gospels have similar facts about them that, by reason, compel a date much earlier than 70 AD. Church historian, Eusebius, wrote that Matthew was produced around 41AD, a mere 8 years after Christ's resurrection. There are many similar issues with your approach that are far worse than this. I am not going to go into them here in detail. I will simply touch on them. *4. Supernatural Claims.* Try to reason with utter intensity here. Begin by imagining supernatural claims that have "proof" according to your standards. They would, by definition, be claims of natural events. Your standards make demands of the texts that are beneath them. With integrity, try to list anything at all that you would accept as full support of any of the supernatural claims in The Bible. You will see that those claims were not written for your intellectual acceptance. They were written to invite you to do the one thing possible to prove them. *3. Lack of Cohesion.* It is an issue that is much greater than you appear to have ever known. God has not changed at all. Read The Son of God in Rev. 2:18-23. It is the same wrathful God of The OT. Jesus was not 'all about love' as many have claimed. God downloaded Himself into our cursed simulation for a narrow purpose, to point to Himself as the blood sacrifice for sin according to the Old Testament Law, this, for any who would appropriate it for themselves, first to The Jew, then to The Gentile. The same wrath of the OT awaits everyone else (Luke 9:60). Is God Love? Yes. But He is not a joke. He created us in His Image. This means that we are moral agents who have responsibilities. There is only one logical thing that we can possibly do in such circumstances, and rejecting Christ ain't it. The reasonable human will know it and respond accordingly (Read and understand Gal. 3). *2. Timing.* I have partially dealt with this in my first paragraph. There is only one logical thing that can be done, and claiming that too much time has passed ain't it. *1. Too difficult to understand* There is a gross misunderstanding here. The Bible is not magical. I have a Bible with entire chapters printed upside down, and with the text presented all in a jumble. Our Bibles represent a marvelous collaboration between God and His people wherein He inspired them with His Inerrant Word, after which they worked with the best of their sacrificial might to teach it to their descendants, ultimately writing it to propel it across millennia. It is the way God has always worked. The errors are almost magically few and completely insignificant. Many are not errors at all, but simply are the result of an incomplete understanding on our part, often due to the text being unconcerned with explaining and justifying details to us. The Bible does not exist to cause belief, though it can surely cause it for those who do the one thing that can possibly be done to know God. People were coming to God long before there was a biblical text of any kind. This is because those who have known God in the past, along with those who know Him today, were reasonable. They relied purely on reason.

Clearly you have misunderstood why God would have such commands in place and expect obedience and worship. We were created for that very purpose, to worship, like it or not. Would you rather worship your phone, your car, your social media platforms, other ppl or yourself?? Or the very One Who made you?? God is LOVE (1 Jn 4:8;16), therefore He sets the standard for love. Love is not our version of love (where we use the term love for our cat, our shoes, our tv shows, boy/girlfriend etc.). Love is His version and His alone because HE is love. He is a just God and had a plan to show the world His love through Jesus Christ how merciful and gracious He can be, even though us sinful created mere mortals didn't deserve it. You can call it coercion, but the fact is you would be foolish to not obey the CREATOR Who put the very breath you breathe in your lungs and has granted you mercy to even be opening your mouth like this to be planting seeds of corruption into the hearts of many and misleading ppl "to follow their questions and see where it leads them". Very dangerous ppl, do not take this advice. There is only ONE way to Heaven, and its through JESUS, He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE - no one goes to the Father except through Him (Jn 14:6). Don't be foolish to take such advice. I pray God extends His mercy on you and everyone agreeing with you, giving you all time to repent and turn back to Him. Choose wisdom, TRUST in the Lord, acknowledge God in all your ways and do not lean on your own understanding, He will make your paths straight (Prov 3:5-6). There are many verses i question also, but i have learnt that the relationship between me and Trinity is between only me and Trinity. A relationship that someone else has Him has noyhing to do with me. This is why I am drifting to following the teachings of Judaism. I like that Jewish scholars look at things critically and not through faith goggles. I don't mean that I'm converting but just taking the lessons. I believe in following the teachings of Jesus more than blindly believing everything that I'm told. I questioned over 20 years ago whether he said that he was God. God of the Hebrew Bible talks more about how we should live our lives. I have questioned for a long time how things in the Old Testament suddenly changed in the New Testament. Satan is an agent of God and now is against God. As Rabbi Manis said, there are many ways to get to the same destination. If you want salvation, then take Christian Airlines or if you want Nirvana, take Buddhist Airlines.

God's love is not the false, liberal, hyper-love of godless liberalism. You know, this whole "I'm okay, your okay", sort of thing. Yes, this is an absurd scenario, and equally absurd is the idea that God, the righteous Judge of all the earth, will allow rampant sin to go unchecked. God has judged human sin in the past, and will yet judge it in the future. Oh, and by the way, Noah preached for over 100 years to wicked, unrepentant sinners, warning them of the judgment to come. But they just laughed at him and kept on with their own earthly pursuits. When the door of the arks was shut, all hope of salvation as lost.

The Jewish followers of Jesus were fully invested in the idea that he was to be their KING. Not that he would be convicted and crucified. They needed to come up with a story to process that loss and turn it into a victory.

I appreciate your channel so much. I Went through born again conversion as a teenager. I was raised Catholic, then went to a Presbyterian church, and finally a Methodist charismatic church until I finally started my deconstruction. I was involved in Young Life in Florida. I had a mentor who has a masters of divinity and could go to the Greek and Hebrew when we wanted to try to examine, as close as we possibly can, what the Bible books actually say. He taught me to ask three questions when I or someone else said, "The Bible says...." 1: What does it say? What do the words actually mean? 2: What does it mean? Who wrote it to whom, and why? 3: Then you can take the step to ask "What does it mean to me?" It took years to build my faith in God and the Bible. The more I studied the Bible and comparative religions, the more questions I had. It took a long time to deconstruct my believe in God and the Bible. None of what you put forward in your videos changed my mind about my beliefs, but it does help that you, along with many other Christian deconstructionists have been on the same journey I have. There are some pretty messed up and confused ideas being presented here… I do not presume to know the answers to all or even any of them. I do know this: Christ is my savior. God’s ways are not man’s ways. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God… I pray that everyone here will find salvation through Christ…

You made several great points, but I thought you missed a golden opportunity to point out one of the greatest flaws in Christian thinking. At 11:50, the apologist uses the platitude "Jesus pays the penalty for us". This is such a huge false equivalence and I am surprised more people do not point this out. Jesus did not spend an eternity in hell being tortured. In fact, according to the Gospel, his capture, trial, crucifixion, and death were all done with in less than 24 hours. This should be very obvious to anyone who spends a minute thinking it over. Christianity has a huge problem in that their doctrine is not logical and these apologists do a crappy of job of justifying it, which usually consists of repeating the same cliches that have been used for decades/centuries.

Sorry I rarely comment But I need to say this I understand where you are coming from, but this is a little out of context ; - Paul was in prison most of the time, it was probably hired scribes that were payed to write responses to the churches - I think we might not be understand what the “payment” - in your words means - He’s talking about being cared for in prison and the money given was distributed across the churches across the Christian word at the time. The money he collected wasn’t for him, but the distribute money across the nations. He’s talking about tithes. - Paul and some of those who he preached to were tent markers, that’s how he earned a living for a while. - I will put the verses about it in a response comment. Your concern is legitimate, but the money was always about tithing so the poor in the church were able to to aided. Christian had to move around a lot due to persecution, some were in hiding, so the money was to feed the people in hiding too. Sorry it’s just the verses were seriously taken out of context.
